The silver mine is one of the great journeys of the Phantasialand theme. It is located between the western town and the topic Mexico. The track has a continuous train and was opened in 1984 as one of the first "dark rides" in the park. It was built from the company Schwarzkopf and Hoffmann. The attraction is suitable for the whole family and enthusiastic young and old alike.
The journey begins in a Mexican silver mine, then it goes through a "time tunnel". After having crossed this, you go up in a Mexican village that starts just the fiesta. But during the celebration an accident happens and the houses go up in flames. Fortunately, you can escape from the fire and finds yourself at the Shootout at the edge of the village again ...
The silver mine has many fans gained a cult status, but is believed that the web is no longer in operation long. Because of lack of space due to the large in Phantasialand and associated alterations in recent years, and the low number of visitors, will probably also likely to disappear this beautiful ride for young and old in the coming years.
